Greetings! I'm Zach!
Welcome to my website, I'm currently a student journalist at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and studying Sports Journalism. I'm proudly Native American and am from Gallup, New Mexico. Feel free to read the work that I have done so far.
My Journey
I am from Gallup, New Mexico. A small community that has two high schools, and plenty of cultures. I'm Navajo and have no siblings and a small family. Nothing stops me from being the best person that I can be. I have a love for sports and love learning every bit of any sport possible.

I started attending Arizona State in August of 2020 in the middle of a pandemic, not knowing much of a career I wanted to go into, but with myself being a sports journalism major, I knew I wanted to be a journalist of some kind. My first stint in learning how to be a journalist came in the Spring of 2020 of becoming a videographer for the student organization for Inferno Intel covering Arizona State Baseball.

Today, I am a sophomore attending classes in-person for the first time and am currently a media relations intern for Arizona State Athletics learning how to become the best journalist I can be. I hope that one day I can become a sports information director or work for a sports company or organization in its public relations department. I'm always open to trying new things in this industry!
